Paul Jeffrey
Paul Jeffrey is Second/Utility Trumpet of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
He has previously held positions with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in
South Korea.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music studying with Frank Kaderabek and his Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of Michael Sachs.  He continued his studies at the Vancouver Academy of Music with Larry Knopp.

He has participated in numerous music festivals, including the Tanglewood Music Center, where he was the recipient of the Roger Voisin Trumpet Award, and the National Orchestral Institute near Washington, DC. He toured Japan, Hong Kong, and across Canada as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. 
A winner of the Pacific Spotlight competition in 2002, Paul was featured in recital and was broadcast on CBC Radio Two.

Paul would like to thank the Sir Ernest MacMillan Memorial Foundation and the Canada Council for the Arts for helping and supporting him in achieving his dream of playing in a great Canadian orchestra.
